This is a "my wife sent me here" story like no other.
I was recently blessed to help ' Malcom' . To my (embarrassing ) introduction , he pronounced that we had met once before. Malcolm was wearing a mask, was edgy and explained the rules to me before we actually worked on his his extreme anxiety of germs and getting sick . With the pandemic over, I was perplexed, though comforted by his honesty . Obviously there were barriers to break down of the FEAR protecting the.. actual fear. Tick, then...
Muscle monitoring ; "2 months, where were you?
Just wow.
We were in a refugee camp, my dad and pregnant mother escaped Vietnam, on a small boat with twice its capacity of desperate traumatised people . 1 month on the boat heavily pregnant mum, dad and possibly 500 others . Sanitary conditions dismissed with the desperation for a better, safer life. Malcolm was born in a refugee camp in HK, his mother passed from the unsanitary 'birthing ward', a tent.
His father then got malcom and his sister to Australia. From here he protected , nurtured and did his best for their future.
Malcom's anxiety and phobia was soo out of control that his now pregnant wife insisted he get rid of this "selfish phobia " before their daughter was born as this was blocking .. everything in her life (and baby to come) lives.
Today Malcom came NO mask and proud new dad. Super happy, in love, dedicated dad and FREE .
It was just so touching to see his smile , with out a mask. It's the little things 💫🙏
