🎉Happy 25 Years in Australia Thermomix 🎉

Thermomix is celebrating being in Australia for 25 years 🥳 🎉 & there is a Collectors Edition Magazine being released on 16th Feb! It's a ripper!! 🤩

Today I hosted a Magazine Launch at my home & 6 of my amazing customers came to celebrate with me. We laughed, cooked, had fun & then sat down & ate & laughed some more. 🤣
We even sang happy birthday to Thermomix 🎶.

When I started as a consultant 14 years ago we used to make 6 dishes at a demo 😳
(Demos are SO much simpler nowadays, are you ready to host a demo❓😉)

Today's theme were recipes that we used to do at demos when I first started.

Sorbet (Green apple & mint)
Pizza Bianca
Hommus
Beetroot salad (with feta)
Pasta Fagioli

I was going to make the custard, which was always a hit at demos & many people purchased their Thermomix because of the simplicity of the custard with simple ingredients & no yukkys!

I didn't make it today instead I "Cooked the Cover"

& I really hope when you get your mag that you give it a go. I thoroughly enjoyed the decorating part.
The girls were blown away when I brought it out after they'd eaten lunch everyone enjoyed a dehydrated flower which was made from 🍍

I also made the Torta Caprese from the mag..it makes a perfect celebratory cake.
(No flour involved)

Let's talk Demos & Host Rewards. 🤩

I used 3 of the 5 amazing host rewards whilst I was busy cooking the other day..
The blade cover peeler to peel the 🥔 for mashed spuds. Once cooked the mash went into one of the 2 new style Thermoservers to keep it piping hot.
The mixing bowls have a rubber base which stops them from slipping. I use the biggest one to coat the Korean Fried chicken, then I put it in the fridge until I'm ready to cook the chicken.
I made my own recipe for beef rissoles & gravy. They went into the other Thermoserver to stay hot while I cleaned up so I had minimal dishes & could relax with my biggest supporter💘

Quick pizza for dinner tonight after a trip to Busselton today.

Much quicker & tastier than ordering not to mention

Pizza dough approx 3 mins then a quick proof.
Our toppings were
Red Caramelized onion
Cheese
Ham
Mushrooms
Pineapple
More cheese
And in a hot oven.

Korean fried chicken wings coated last night, cooked in the oven this morning. (I don't deep fry anything)
Sauce was made while the chicken was cooking & put into the new Thermoserver.
I love the rubber strap that holds the lid on for travelling & it was still hot when we got to Busselton. 💚

What's for dinner in your house tonight⁉️
We had noodles & don't bother asking or looking for the recipe 🫣😂
I did a bit of baking this arvo
Melting moments (that need icing between them) & $250 Choc Chunk Cookies & after that, I went to the shops to grab a few things & somehow Noodles ended up coming home with me. 😳

Not much change out of $40 tho - for 2 little boxes. 🤑

Glad I don't do that very often. 😉

OMG tonight's dinner was the 💣
Not very often it happens, but I was REALLY hanging out for dinner time tonight.

Last time I made this recipe there was a container of the sauce left, so I froze it.
I found some pork ribs in the freezer, so I basted them with the sauce & cooked them on a low temp for a couple of hours in my Firra cast iron pan (from the MixShop)

I chopped up way too many potatoes last night, so I made them into little chippies & they were yum 😋

Corn 🌽 cobs were steamed in the basket & if we got food like this when we eat out we would do it every freaking night!

When old school friends come for lunch you grab the ☔🌧️ day cake out of the freezer & make cream cheese icing.
Put the 🥕 lollies on top then make them guess what sort of cake it is! 🫣🤣🤣

Dinner was a bit late tonight after a late surgeon checkup appointment & a bit of grocery shopping to be able to cook the Salmon Velout`e reinvent`e, from the soon to be released Limited Edition Thermomix everyday 25th Anniversary magazine.

We are SOOOO spoiled having Cookidoo - just about did my head in having to follow a recipe manually!!🤬🤯🤣

It was certainly worth it!
Soup, Salmon & veg all cooked at the same time 🤩
