Our Educators are passionate towards extending on the children’s current interests and learning. Our children have been interested in farm animals and to scaffold on this, one of our Educators brought in baby chicks and quails for the children to interact with, on Monday. 🐥

Our Bilbies children scaffolded on their current interest and learning of farm animals with an excursion to our next door paddock, on Monday. They were greeted by cows and ventured out to find the sheep too. We can’t wait to see where the children’s learning journey goes from here… 🐄 🐑 💐

From the moment we began the planning stages of our centre, we have been listening to our communities values and vision. We recently spent the morning with one our parents, who spoke to our centre and emphasised the organic interest many had at their first centre tour, to finalise our philosophy. 🍃🍁🌳🤎

We are committed to broadening our knowledge and understanding the history and culture of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Yesterday, our Centre Manager, Early Childhood Teacher and Educator in Charge attended the Wolbai Community Cluster meeting. During this meeting, they explored literacy and the importance of reading books.

Last week our Kangaroos went strawberry picking at N&J Strawberry Farm where they picked and ate as many strawberries as their bellies could handle 🍓

They were super delicious and we can’t wait to go back again 😋

Healthy teeth, happy smiles! 🦷
From the convenience of a familiar environment and time, a few weeks ago, we welcomed Delivering Dental into our centre to support our families with providing their children the opportunity for a dental examination, clean and oral hygiene instructions by a dental professional. Delivering Dental will be visiting our centre every 6 months to provide this service, be sure to book in for their next visit. 🪥
