Today is World Mental Health Day, a day to pause, check in on your own mental health, and reach out to others.
As this graphic from the World Health Organization (WHO) shows, upkeep of mental health involves far more than doctor visits or therapy - it involves contributions from the whole community.
As we move forward with mental health sector reform in Victoria, we look forward to creating a system that embeds mental health and wellbeing within community services, putting prevention, community-based treatment and maintenance of wellbeing as high up as crisis care.
