As many of you have now heard, I will be holding my last classes at Temple Wellness and Yoga before the doors close.

And so I would love to give a heartfelt thank you to Jess and Temple Wellness and Yoga for all you’ve done for our community! This space has been a sanctuary for so many of us and has given us yoga teachers the opportunity to share our passion and connect with others.

As I prepare for my last week teaching here, I invite you to join me for the Basic Breath Series on Thursday as I cover Lizzie’s Breathwork reset. This class will take you through a series of pranayama and then for our final Foundations of Yoga on Friday.

✨ And just like that I’ve completed my Healers Training and Kundalini Meditation and Yoga Teacher training! Can’t believe it’s been 9 months. For those needing change in their lives, the Healers Training with 13 Moons Women’s Temple is definitely something to consider.

This journey has been nothing short of transformative. I’m so grateful for the tools I’ve gained. To name a few—Kundalini meditation & yoga, Reiki, facilitating women’s circles, ta***ic numerology, and subtle body energy healing 💫

✨ Each retreat was held in a calming and safe space, surrounded by a beautiful circle of like-minded women, each on their own unique journey. This experience has truly elevated my self-awareness, and I can’t wait to share the wealth of wisdom I’ve gained from my teachers with you!

Mindfulness is being fully present with oneself. It is the awareness of the here and the now, true reality. When we meditate we enter a hypo metabolic state equivalent to or deeper to a state of rest. From there we reduce stress and anxiety, induce feel good hormones like serotonin as well as hormones like melatonin to help regulate circadian rhythm. We enter a state in which our body can repair and heal itself.

Meditation does not need to be done in complete stillness and silence. I learnt this by practicing Kundalini meditations which can incorporate pranayama, mudra, bandhas, mantra, chanting and drishti. It showed me how to access that space of quiet and calm after doing the work to get there. It showed me that by just maintaining full presence, awareness and mindfulness, I was practicing meditation 🌿📿
