Every child wants to belong. π
π How do you help your child feel like they belong?
Joining in games, writing in class, and playing sports β these moments help children feel included.
But when coordination, fine motor skills, or planning movements are hard, belonging can feel out of reach. Add to this the challenge of relocating or moving to a new country, and children (and parents!) may feel even more isolated.
The good news? With support, practice, and encouragement, children can build the skills they need to join in with confidence. Families can also establish small routines and traditions that create a sense of βhome,β regardless of their location.
β¨ Belonging isnβt about doing everything perfectly β itβs about finding ways to connect, participate, and be part of something.
