In a world where every thing is high speed, screens, instant gratification, and busyness, we are raising a generation of kids addicted to dopamine. Their precious developing little brains slowness, connection, time, space, and the ability to get bored... Boredom is where creativity and imagination and emotional processing happens.

Boredom is a gift.

Slow down ...and let them get bored.

We've spent the best part of two months in and around Perth with family, who flew all the way from Brisbane to see Jess for her birthday, and Dan's extended family who live in WA. We've been spoilt rotten and very loved on. Watching the kids get to know and bind with their great aunts and uncles, cousins, and second cousins has been incredibly beautiful, and very humbling.

This stretch of the trip has been very different, but beautiful in very different ways.

So much love and gratitude to Meemah, Papa, Uncle Dan (Tilda has declared you are her favorite uncle), Leo, Harper, Eden, Aunty Michelle (aka Perth Nana), Uncle Paul (aka Perth Poppy), Jaz, Steve, Lucy, Elliot (I'm almost positive that's not the right spelling!), Rob, Anda, Alicia, Aaron, Amy, Thea, and my rad little dude, Huddy.

We love you and will miss the West Aussies all so much 🥲 East Aussies, we can't wait to hug you all again soon. Thanks for a Christmas and 39th Birthday we will never forget.
