Time is the only currency you spend without ever knowing your balance: you never check your account and you never get a statement, you just keep spending it hoping there’s more where that came from.

We act like we have forever.

We postpone dreams, delay joy and assume that “later” is guaranteed. But “later” often becomes “never.”

And no one ever feels the moment they cross the line from “I still have time” to “I thought I had more.”

Truth is: you don’t get to control how much time you have, but you do get to choose how you spend it.

Every day, you’re trading your life for something.

Make sure it’s worth it.

Because you want to avoid the tragic scenario of living as if you’re never going to die and then die having never truly lived.

Why Do Tired Mums Stay Up Late?

It’s actually really simple.

The house is finally quiet.
The dishes are done.
The kids are asleep.
And still… I’m awake.

I know I should be sleeping.
But this is the only part of the day that’s mine.

No one’s touching me.
No one’s asking for snacks.
No one needs me for anything.

So I scroll.
Or I snack.
Or I watch one more episode.
Or I just bask in the silence and breathe.

Yes, I’ll be tired tomorrow.
(Even with sleep, I always am.)

But what I need more than rest
Is to feel—for a few minutes—like me again.

Why do tired mums stay up late?
