I traveled to Nagoya again to study under Hasegawa sensei — the pioneer of electro-facial acupuncture. 🪡

His technique is a work of art. Precise, refined, and full of the quiet mastery you only find in true Japanese craftsmanship. What moves me most is how freely he passes this knowledge on to his students. He is a truly rare and precious practitioner. Thank you, sensei. 🙏

I joined a TCM Food Therapy Workshop today. I love exploring how food can be used as medicine to nourish the body and mind in different times and phases.

It was a fun, hands-on cooking workshop where we improvised and created dishes together 🫚🫑🥕

As summer comes to an end, autumn begins in March according to the calendar. 🍂

This year, Melbourne truly experienced a summer that felt like summer! ☀️✨
In Traditional Chinese Medicine, we believe that after summer, the body tends to become dry. To keep moisture balanced, it’s good to eat white-coloured foods like Nashi pears, pears, white radish, mushrooms, tofu, and Chinese cabbage etc. 🥢🍐🍄

Exciting news! 🩵

I’ve officially rebranded from “Ikuko Bodyworks” to “Junko Bodyworks”!

Some of my clients know that "Ikuko" is my nickname from high school. Therefore, I had been using it for a long time. However, today, on the day of the golden ring solar eclipse, I’d like to restart again :) 🌑💫

And, When changing my business name, I took time to reflect on my role as a massage therapist.

🌼 My role is to help release tensions in the body using all the methods that I've studied so far.

🌼 My role is to help people become aware of and listen to their bodies.

🌼 My role is to support people in letting go of emotions in life through energy bodywork.

Happy new year 2024! It's hard to believe it's already February.
It's happening so quickly. I hope that everyone had time to reflect, play and rest during the break.

I'm happy to announce that this year is my last year of the study of Chinese Medicine. Therefore, I'll work less unfortunately at Komyuniti Wellness as Uni get busier.

Hello everyone 👋 Happy lunar eclipse 🌕
Just quick announcements for my working hours for this year.

Monday 10-6pm
Thursday 9-5pm
And Saturday 9:30-12:30 (fortnightly)

I'll be on holiday from Dec 23rd till Jan 8th.

I'm offering my massage practice .

* There's only one category in massage for online booking but I can offer Shiatsu (Japanese meredian therapy), Remedial massage, and Chi Mei Tsang (abdominal massage). Also, if I think that is beneficial I do Reflexology (foot massage) and Moxibustion (heat therapy).
