Our Volunteers need your support. Can you help out monthly, fortnightly or weekly 2.5 hour shifts weekdays?

We cant run the Post Office without volunteers and our volunteers need the opportunity for time off so they don't burn out.
All training is provided.

The Power Saving Bonus program closes in FOUR WEEKS - visit your local Neighbourhood House for assistance to apply before closing!

Households with an eligible concession card are now able to apply for a $100 payment by visiting the Victorian Energy Compare website (compare.energy.vic.gov.au).

Households who need help to apply will be able to visit a participating Neighbourhood House for assistance. Visit www.nhvic.org.au/psb to find your closest!

Post Office Update

The "Post Office" is a Community Postal Agent of Australia Post, and operates out of the Flowerdale Community House. This commenced in July 2025 after the closure of Hazeldene General Store.

Following Australia Post service policies and procedures, the postal service only operates during the below listed opening hours, serviced by volunteers.
Current postal hours:
Monday 10am- 12pm
Tuesday 2:30pm- 4:30pm
Wednesday 10am- 12pm AND 6- 7pn
Thursday 2:30pm- 4:30pm
Friday 10am- 12pm

We have limited postal opening hours due to limited volunteers. Please help expand the opening hours by volunteering, spread the word and join with a friend!
If you are expecting a package, you can download the Auspost app or use the Auspost website to track your delivery. Do not call Flowerdale Community House, as staff, Rebekah and Kelly, cannot answer calls and provide personal postal information. This would breach privacy and confidentiality as well as security risks. They do not have access to the postal office outside the above listed times.
Alternatively, you can apply for a mail redirection to a different Australia Post outlet if Flowerdale is not convenient for you.
