Many thanks to those who contributed to our December'24 Christmas Food Appeal!

The volunteers from the Eastern Relief Network did their 1st pick up on Thursday 12th Dec 24 and their last pick up will be on Thursday 19th Dec 24.
This will be much appreciated by those in need.

During December Christmas 24 -- Forest Hill Foot Posture Centre clients will also be receiving traditional Greek sweets made locally by YIAYIA's GLYKA. Hope you all enjoy them as much as we do giving them to you! 🎄🎄🎄

Over the last 20 years every December Foot Posture Centre Forest Hill conducts a Christmas Food Appeal supporting the Eastern Emergency Relief Network.

If you are passing by Forest Hill Foot Posture Centre spare a thought for those in need this Christmas and drop off any non perishable food.

The Eastern emergency relief network will be collect the food on Thu 19th December 2024. The wonderful volenteers will package them together to distribute to familes in need.

FOOTOBER - we are treating Plantar Fasciitis

Plantar fasciitis is an overuse condition whereby the plantar fascia has become inflamed because it has been over stretched.

The most common cause of plantar fasciitis is when the foot excessively pronates or rolls inwards.

Treating the excessive pronation through foot mobilisation and corrective exercises is crucial to seeing improvement here.

Foot Posture Centre podiatrists focus on fixing the cause of plantar fasciitis, which is often internal misaligned joints within the foot or ankle.
Treatment will involve gradually moving the misaligned joints to their correct position, thereby relieving the stress on the plantar fascia.

FOOTOBER - we are treating Ankle Pain.

The most common injury around the ankle joint involves the ligaments, especially in sports that involve jumping.
There are natural treatment options for ankle pain. No orthotics are needed in the majority of cases.
