Every participant starts with 2 one-on-one assessments with ONERO Physio Hannah, which includes:
✔️Review of your health history and Bone Mineral Density (DEXA) scan
✔️Functional Capacity Assessment
✔️Followup lifting assessment before joining classes
✔️Optional inclusion in the worldwide ONERO research program

ONERO™ is a program designed for people with osteoporosis or osteopenia (low bone mineral density). The program is supervised weight and impact training which is brief but at a high intensity. The evidence-based program is designed to stimulate bone development and reduce the risk of osteoporotic fractures and falls.

⭐️ What does it involve?
Our physiotherapist Hannah first assesses the patient’s current health, DEXA (bone mineral density scan) and functional capacity + a follow-up lifting assessment prior to joining a class. If the patient is willing, Hannah can add them to the worldwide research data.

Your GP can provide you with a referral to have a DEXA scan at your local imaging company.

Following the assessments, the classes are completely supervised by Hannah with a maximum of 4 clients in each class.

Depending on the coverage per individual, this can be covered by
▪️Private Health Funds - for one on one assessments and classes
▪️Home Care Packages - for one on one assessments and classes
▪️DVA - for one on one assessments and classes
▪️GPCCMP referrals (formerly EPC) - only for one on one assessments as GPCCMPs do not cover any group sessions / classes.
