We’re delighted to welcome Dr Peter Hanna and Dr Alex Bentley to the team at Karingal Family Medical Centre 👨‍⚕️👨‍⚕️

Dr Peter Hanna is a passionate and highly experienced GP. He brings extensive experience across men's, women’s and children’s health, and is skilled in a wide range of clinical procedures. Dr Hanna holds a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery and is a Fellow of the RACGP (FRACGP). Outside of work, you’ll find him enjoying table tennis and swimming.

Dr Alex Bentley joins us with 11 years’ experience working as a doctor in the UK before recently relocating to Australia. He holds additional postgraduate qualifications in Internal General Medicine and Clinical Dermatology, with special interests in cardiovascular health, respiratory medicine, men’s health, skin conditions and travel consultations. In his spare time, Dr Bentley enjoys yoga and hiking.

We’re thrilled to have both doctors on board and look forward to the expertise and care they bring to the Frankston and Karingal communities

Karingal Family Medical Centre is pleased to support "It’s in the Bag," one of Australia’s most cherished Christmas appeals, where everyday Australians are encouraged to fill a bag (teen, adult, or mum & bub bag) with essential items and a simple hand written note.

Each donation is personally checked, tagged and recorded by volunteers, then transported to charity partners who will gift them to women and girls waking up in domestic violence shelters or homelessness refuges on Christmas Day.

Fill a handbag with everyday essentials and some
extra special items and drop it to Karingal Family Medical Centre by November 28th.

A Fellow of the RACGP, Dr Lavanya brings years of experience in family medicine with a special interest in women’s and children’s health. She offers warm, holistic care and speaks Tamil and Malay.

Also a RACGP Fellow, Dr Alian comes to us with a strong background in emergency medicine at Monash Hospital. She’s passionate about preventive care, women’s health, and caring for patients of all ages.
