We aim to inspire you to feel and be the best version of yourself, whilst enjoying all aspects of food and eating. We at Essence of Eating provide Dietitian and Nutritionist services in the form of one-on-one consultations that are tailored to the individual. We will work with you in order to identify your nutritional goals, and identify a plan with regards to achieving them. Essence of Eating consultation fees are:
$155 for initial appointment ( 50-60 min)
$105 for review appointments ( 30 min)

💬 Can you see a dietitian through Medicare?
Yes - if you have a chronic health condition, your GP may be able to refer you under a GP Chronic Condition Management Plan (formally known as GP Management Plan, Care Plan or EPC).

Here’s how it works:
✔️ You may be eligible for up to 5 rebated sessions per year
✔️ The Medicare rebate is $61.80 per consult (as of July 2025)
✔️ You’ll pay the full fee upfront, and I’ll process your rebate on the spot
✔️ Just bring your Medicare card and a savings/cheque card

Dietitians are covered — and I’m here to make it simple.

It’s a question I get asked all the time — and the short answer is:

✨ I help people take care of their health without focusing on weight loss.

That means:
✔️ No strict food rules
✔️ No shame around eating
✔️ No being told to 'shred’ your weight

Instead, we look at real health behaviours; like how you’re feeling, what’s getting in the way, and how to build a way of eating that feels good long term.

If you’ve tried every diet and still feel stuck, the non-diet approach might be the reset you didn’t know you needed.
