Children often struggle to express their vision issues. Signs such as frequent squinting, headaches, or watery eyes after screen time may indicate a need for a professional eye assessment. These symptoms commonly result from eye strain or refractive errors that impair their ability to see clearly. Addressing vision problems early can prevent further discomfort, improve concentration, and help overall development. Regular eye check-ups are an important part of children’s healthcare. Timely eye care helps ensure children enjoy healthy vision. Contact iSight Specialists to book your child's appointment today.

Amblyopia, or lazy eye, occurs when one eye’s vision doesn’t develop properly because the brain favours the other. Early signs include an eye turning in or out and difficulty tracking objects. Strabismus, where the eyes don’t align properly, can cause amblyopia if untreated. Early diagnosis and treatment improve outcomes. If you notice any signs or are not sure, book a children’s vision check up with iSight Specialists to protect your child’s eyesight.
