About me and my counselling practice:

Hello! My name is Tanya Wilson and I am a psychotherapist and coach. With a Diploma of Transpersonal Counselling and more than twenty four years’ industry experience, I am pleased to say I am a trusted professional counsellor. I have seen Thousands of clients through my private practice and integrated practices as well as through various organisations.

I have spent 5 years lecturing and tutoring at one of Australia’s leading education and training organisations, Ikon Institute, and I love creating and delivering personal and professional development resources for those interested in self development, and specifically those new to, or interested in the helping professions.

My specialist areas include treating:

 relationship trauma (breakups, narcissistic abuse, infidelity)

 depression

 anxiety

 stress

 chronic health conditions

 family and parenting issues

 self esteem problems

 emotional, physical, spiritual or financial pain

 emotional resilience and wellness.

Within each counselling session, I may use a variety of proven types of therapy and techniques to enrich the counselling process. Types of counselling therapy include:

Counselling techniques can include:
