G’day Legends!

A slight shift from our usual content but something we wanted to share for any female partners, family, friends etc. of the men in our community!

Roz Phillips runs a WOMEN ONLY 50+ group…see below and please reach out to Roz directly if your interested!

We are are a group of strangers who are tired of paying for gym memberships and lack the motivation to exercise alone. We started this weights group cause we all need accountability and wanted to workout outdoors. All the ladies who come along are different ages, shapes,sizes,fitness levels, insecurities but we all just rock up and support eachother. We bring our own hand weights, mat and a sense of humour. Please feel free to join us every Tuesday and Friday 9.15am at the playground inside Queens Park Golf Club.
No running, jumping or burpees. Please don’t feel shy or intimidated to join a group of strangers cause we are all in the same boat. We have a laugh during the sessions and
we have a coffee and chat afterwards.
We all donate $2 per session and donate every cent to a Dog Sanctuary in Bali. Please feel free to message me privately to chat more. All ladies over 50 welcome.

G’day Legends,

As we roll into the Christmas/New Year period, we’d like to reflect on our sixth and pretty incredible year for us here at Right Mate.

THANK YOU to the following organisations for your unequivocal support and belief in us throughout 2025 -

This year has seen us -
- Walk every single Saturday with over 1000 men joining us across the year, with a significant amount of new men joining us and a consistent stream of referrals from health professionals and counselling services.
- Hold 12 monthly dinners with over 380 men joining us across the year.
- Hold our fourth Right Mate Race day, raising a record amount, which has allowed us to invest further into our community.
- Spoke at a number of workplaces and events throughout the year, providing us an opportunity to continue educating about mental health, providing skills on a range of issues, and highlighting the importance of social connection.

We are, as those that know us well, not clinical experts in mental health, but what we are is a small group of men with lived experience, a passion to help others, to connect people, form a community and break the stigma around men’s mental health.

On behalf of Chris & Luke our co-founders our final thank you goes to the community of men that we have the absolute honour of having join us as often as they feel they need to.

It is because of you we keep moving forward, keep looking for ways to connect and keep doing what we do - YOU are our one and only reason why.

Stay safe, stay well and here’s to what promises to be an even more amazing 2026.

The 5th Annual Geelong Christmas walk took place this morning, and what a morning it was!!

A HUGE thank you to to amazing team who pumped out close to 60 coffees in record time and with the biggest smiles on their faces!

sponsored the coffees this week and we continue to be so very grateful for the continued support.

Our community….well, what can we say…you are amazing!!

We are humbled every single week by the way you show up, connect and care for each other…it’s EXACTLY what community is about.
