Dayle from Calm Minds Clinic rocked the Strong Dads t-shirt after our livestream where we joked about giving them away! Wasn’t quite the right fit, but it still looked good!

Evening all,

In preparation for Saturdays stream, we were wondering if there were any specific topics you’d like us to discuss? At the moment, we plan to have some general discussions and laughs, but we’d love for it to be directed in the way you’d like it to be too.

Feel free to reach out in our DM’s or the comments!

We look forward to seeing you all on Saturday afternoon (3pm AEST).

Seeking help is crucial for men because it empowers them to tackle mental health challenges and fosters overall wellbeing.

There’s no shame in asking for support—it's a sign of strength, not weakness.

Reaching out opens the door to healing, resilience, and a healthier life, proving that vulnerability can lead to true strength.

Let’s meet the team (Part 3):

Hey guys,

I’m Si, a registered nurse, environmental scientist, and new dad. I founded Strong Dads to support men’s health around early fatherhood. In my experience through IVF during my nursing journey, I saw a gap in resources for dads and decided to create a platform that focuses on their unique challenges.

Men's health is close to my heart, and I'm passionate about providing support and guidance to dads, helping them navigate the ups and downs of fatherhood. With Strong Dads, and now as part of the Men’s Health Collaborative, my goal is to create a network where all men feel heard, supported, and empowered.

Together with Jim and Dayle, we’re keen to make an environment where we can have real conversations, share a laugh, and have a positive impact. Let’s support each other and build a healthier future for all of us. Looking forward to this journey with you!

Lets meet the team (Part 2):

Hi everyone,

My name is Dayle, and I worked as a treating Psychologist for a number of years, and now work as the Wellbeing Director at Calm Minds Clinic.

For me, MHC was established on the back of a few core things: a common goal of aiming to normalise and challenge the norm of having difficult conversations; the idea of creating a safe-space where we can use humour and simultaneously discuss real-life issues and finally… sitting with Jim having these exact conversations, without a camera recording our every move (you missed out on so much, believe me).

In saying the above, I can’t wait to be a part of change. Whether we move mountains, or are a drop in the ocean, if we can help just one person - my work here is done. I can’t wait for you to be a part of it too.

Let’s meet the team:

Im Jim, I created DadKitchen back in 2021 during Covid lockdown in Melbourne. Originally I wanted to showcase the simplicity and enjoyment of cooking for your family but I found that my platform was an ideal space to begin having discussions surrounding mental health and normalising those “tough” topics in the family dynamic.

I’m no stranger to mental health challenges and as a result. I’m looking to help others in their own journeys. Together with Dayle and Simon, my aim is to build our network and resources to provide as much support as possible whilst also having a laugh along the way. Thus, MHC is born.
