As we move through the year, we’re proud to share the Autumn 2026 edition of our Community Newsletter highlighting key milestones, meaningful moments, and the continued growth across Pure Living.

This edition features:

✨ 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱 — officially launched as a registered not-for-profit social enterprise, creating real opportunities for skill development, confidence, and community participation. This marks an exciting new chapter.

🏡 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 & 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗛𝘂𝗯 — now open and already in action, providing a space for hands-on learning, practical skill-building, and preparing for real community experiences.

🌱 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 — at the Maitland Community Markets, where participants stepped into a real-world setting to sell handcrafted candles, engage with the community, and put the skills developed in the Hub into practice.

🐣 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 — from activities across our homes to community outings, the Easter period brought plenty of connection, celebration, and shared moments.

We’ve got an exciting community event coming up and would love to have people involved. Whether you’re keen to volunteer, lend a hand, or simply be part of the day, everyone is welcome.

This is more than just a day out, it’s about being part of something real, taking on meaningful roles, and sharing in a true Aussie community experience because let’s be honest, running a Bunnings sausage sizzle is serious business.

Our team will be out there on the BBQ, working alongside volunteers and the community, and we’d love for you to be part of it too.

🌺 𝐋𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐖𝐞 𝐅𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 | 𝐀𝐍𝐙𝐀𝐂 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

Today, we pause to reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and service of the men and women who have served our country.

This morning, our team at Pure Living Accommodation & Care attended the 𝗠𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗡𝗭𝗔𝗖 𝗗𝗮𝘆 𝗰𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆, where we laid flowers in honour of their service.

A few of our crew from Wattle House and Cherry Blossom House also attended, taking part in a meaningful moment of reflection and respect with the wider community.

🕯️ 𝗙𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁. 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗦𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 ✨

A few weeks ago, Pure Start Incorporated stepped into the community for the first time, taking our handcrafted candles to the 𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐭𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭𝐬.

Getting to that moment took dedication and commitment from the crew:
🌱 Months of developing and refining skills through handcrafting candles
🌱 Rehearsal sessions in 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘏𝘶𝘣 focused on practising customer conversations, pricing, and using the Square POS system
🌱 Taking those skills into a real-world setting by engaging with customers, running the stall, and building confidence all in a supported environment

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁’𝘀 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹-𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝘀𝗸𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗱𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲.

Thank you to everyone who came down and supported us, it genuinely means a lot.

By the end of the day, both 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘩 𝘉𝘢𝘬𝘦𝘩𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦 from the Scents of the Hunter Collection and 𝘝𝘢𝘯𝘪𝘭𝘭𝘢 𝘊𝘢𝘳𝘢𝘮𝘦𝘭 from the Pure Living Signature Collection became crowd favourites, both selling out.

Proud moment all round. First market down, plenty more to come.

☀️ 𝗔 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘆𝗱𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗼𝘄 🎡

Three of our crew headed down to the Sydney Royal Easter Show for a day out.

Good food, taking in the sights, and enjoying the atmosphere. The weather definitely showed up too.

Big shoutout to our amazing support workers who made it happen; it’s a long day, but moments like this make it worth it.

🌼 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝗣𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 🐣

This Easter was a mix of activities across our homes and out in the community. Plenty happening with lots of smiles and chocolate along the way.

𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗱:

🐰 Easter morning started with the Easter Bunny leaving behind treats across all homes

🌱 Running our Pure Start Incorporated not-for-profit stall selling candles at the Maitland Community Markets, while also exploring the markets and enjoying the atmosphere

🎨 Easter Monday wrapped things up at Willow Tree with relaxed Easter activities, including decorating Easter-themed biscuits and painting the Easter Bunny

A great weekend all round, getting out, enjoying the sunshine, and enjoying time together.

Meet Richard and House mate 2, our fantastic occupants at 𝘞𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘭𝘦 𝘛𝘳𝘦𝘦 𝘏𝘰𝘶𝘴𝘦, this home is brand new and in the 𝗯𝗲𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗳𝘂𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗮𝗵 𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲, just behind Rutherford! 🏡✨

Last Saturday, we welcomed Richard to the Pure Living family, and it’s been wonderful to see him and his housemate bond over shared interests like cooking, bowling, and friendly walks around the neighborhood. They’ve even been out meeting neighbour’s and making new friends with locals along the way, it's all about community here!
