Change doesn’t begin in your life.
It begins in your mind. 🌱

We often look at transformation as something sudden — a decision, a breakthrough, a new beginning.
But real change isYouieter, slower, more intimate than that.

It starts as a single idea.
A whisper that says: maybe I don’t have to keep living like this.

That idea becomes thoughts — repeated inner conversations that reshape what you believe is possible.
Thoughts become feelings — the emotional energy that either fuels movement or keeps you stuck.

Feelings inspire a plan.
A small intention. A direction. A first step.

Plans practiced consistently become habits — the invisible architecture of daily life.
Habits require commitment — choosing again and again, especially on the days motivation disappears.

Commitment reshapes your lifestyle — not just what you do, but who you are becoming.
And only then, from the outside, does the world finally see change.

But by that time, the transformation has already happened within.

🪷 In Buddhist understanding, the mind is the forerunner of all states:
“All that we are is the result of what we have thought.”

So if you want to change your life,
don’t start with the outside.

Start with the smallest circle:
one thought,
one intention,
one gentle shift in awareness.

Because every lasting change you admire in others
once began as a quiet idea no one else could see.

And perhaps, right now,
that idea is already alive in you. ✨

In the wise words of Dr Gladys McGary - you can be in the world one of two ways…

❤️ LOVE
or
😬 FEAR

Recognise when you’re in the world with fear and transmute it to Love ❤️
Love for yourself & Love for others ❤️

“Love is like magic
And it always will be.
For love still remains
Life’s sweet mystery!!
Love works in ways
That are wondrous and strange
And there’s nothing in life
That love cannot change !!
Love can transform
The most commonplace
Into beauty and splendor
And sweetness and grace.
Love is unselfish,
Understanding and kind,
For it sees with its heart
And not with its mind!!
Love is the answer
That everyone seeks...
Love is the language,
That every heart speaks.
Love can’t be bought,
It is priceless and free,
Love, like pure magic,
Is life’s sweet mystery!!”

“You know exactly what you should do, yet you still do not do it. The ancient Greeks had a name for this inner conflict. They called it akrasia, meaning acting against your better judgment. Today, neuroscience finally explains why this happens inside the brain.

From a psychological perspective, akrasia is not laziness or lack of discipline. It is a battle between two brain systems. The prefrontal cortex is responsible for planning, logic, and long term goals. The limbic system, especially areas linked to reward and emotion, seeks immediate comfort and pleasure. When these systems are out of sync, the emotional brain often wins.

Neuroscience shows that stress, fatigue, and emotional overload weaken the prefrontal cortex. This reduces self control and makes short term rewards feel more urgent. Dopamine also plays a role. The brain is wired to chase quick relief, even when it contradicts long term intentions. That is why scrolling, procrastinating, or avoiding difficult tasks feels irresistible in the moment.

Psychology explains that behavior changes when the nervous system feels safe and regulated. Small actions, habit stacking, and reducing decision fatigue help restore balance between intention and action. Understanding akrasia removes shame and replaces it with insight. You are not broken. Your brain is simply prioritizing survival over progress.”

Neuroscience and psychology show that the brain does not automatically distinguish between truth and falsehood. What it responds to most strongly is repetition. When a thought is repeated often enough, the brain begins to treat it as familiar, and familiarity is closely linked to perceived truth. This process is known in psychology as the illusory truth effect.

Repeated thoughts strengthen neural pathways through neuroplasticity. Each time a belief is rehearsed, whether accurate or false, the connections supporting it become more efficient and easier to activate. Over time, the brain expends less energy questioning the thought and more energy reinforcing it. This is why negative self talk, false assumptions, and internalized beliefs can start to feel like unquestionable facts.

Research shows that the brain prioritizes cognitive efficiency over accuracy. Challenging a belief requires effort from the prefrontal cortex, while accepting familiar thoughts relies on automatic processing systems. As a result, repeated lies can feel emotionally true even when evidence contradicts them.

Closing of the year by Paulo Coelho 💖

CLOSING 2025
One always has to know when a stage comes to an end. If we insist on staying longer than the necessary time, we lose the happiness and the meaning of the other stages we have to go through.
Closing cycles, shutting doors, ending chapters – whatever name we give it, what matters is to leave in the past the moments of life that have finished.

Did you lose your job? Has a loving relationship come to an end? Did you leave your parents’ house? Gone to live abroad? Has a long-lasting friendship ended all of a sudden?
You can spend a long time wondering why this has happened.

You can tell yourself you won’t take another step until you find out why certain things that were so important and so solid in your life have turned into dust, just like that.
But such an attitude will be awfully stressing for everyone involved: your parents, your husband or wife, your friends, your children, your sister.
Everyone is finishing chapters, turning over new leaves, getting on with life, and they will all feel bad seeing you at a standstill.

Things pass, and the best we can do is to let them really go away.

That is why it is so important (however painful it may be!) to destroy souvenirs, move, give lots of things away to orphanages, sell or donate the books you have at home.

Everything in this visible world is a manifestation of the invisible world, of what is going on in our hearts – and getting rid of certain memories also means making some room for other memories to take their place.
Let things go. Release them. Detach yourself from them.

Nobody plays this life with marked cards, so sometimes we win and sometimes we lose.
Do not expect anything in return, do not expect your efforts to be appreciated, your genius to be discovered, your love to be understood.

Stop turning on your emotional television to watch the same program over and over again, the one that shows how much you suffered from a certain loss: that is only poisoning you, nothing else.

Nothing is more dangerous than not accepting love relationships that are broken off, work that is promised but there is no starting date, decisions that are always put off waiting for the “ideal moment.”

Before a new chapter is begun, the old one has to be finished: tell yourself that what has passed will never come back.
Remember that there was a time when you could live without that thing or that person – nothing is irreplaceable, a habit is not a need.
This may sound so obvious, it may even be difficult, but it is very important.

Closing cycles. Not because of pride, incapacity or arrogance, but simply because that no longer fits your life.

Shut the door, change the record, clean the house, shake off the dust.

Stop being who you were, and change into who you are.

OMGoodness, Wayne Dyer you are inspiring! Great words to live by, well worth the read 💖💖💖

Dr Wayne D Dyer
“One of the most important decisions you’ll ever make is choosing the kind of universe you exist in: is it helpful and supportive or hostile and unsupportive? Your answer to this question will make all the difference in terms of how you live your life and what kind of Divine assistance you attract.

Remember that you get what you think about, whether you want it or not. So if you believe that this is an unfriendly universe, you’ll look for examples to support this point of view. You’ll anticipate people attempting to cheat, judge, take advantage of, and otherwise harm you. You’ll blame the antagonistic, inhospitable cosmos for not cooperating with you in the fulfillment of your desires. You’ll point the finger at belligerent people and bad luck for the kind of world we all live in.

I implore you to see the universe as a warm and supportive one because you’ll look for evidence to support this view. When you anticipate that the universe is friendly, you see friendly people. You look for circumstances to work in your favor. You anticipate good fortune flowing into your life.

My favorite affirmation when I feel stuck or out of sorts is: Whatever I need is already here, and it is all for my highest good. Jot this down and post it conspicuously throughout your home, on the dashboard of your car, at your office, on your microwave oven, and even in front of your toilets! Remind yourself: I live in a friendly universe that will support any thing or desire that is aligned with the universal Source of all.

I’ve found that by shifting my belief about the nature of the universe, I attract whatever I desire into my life. I desire love. I desire peace. I desire health. I desire happiness. I desire prosperity. When I pray, I do so in the spirit of Saint Francis, who beseeched God to “make me an instrument of your peace.” In other words, “Let me be like the Source from which I originated, and then I will rest in the knowing that my desires must be here, on their way, and for my highest good.”

🌀Stress Management & Guided Imagery

* Guided imagery is directed thoughts and suggestions that guide your imagination toward a relaxed, focused state. It is based on the idea that your body and mind are connected. The relaxed state may help you feel more in control.

🌀How do you do guided imagery?

Guided imagery helps you use your imagination to take you to a calm, peaceful place. This can help you relax and relieve stress.
When you start, meditate for only 10 minutes at a time. Then you can increase the time bit by bit. You can also meditate for 10 minutes in the morning and 10 minutes in the evening.
It may help to have an instructor or audio recording to follow. You can also use a script (a set of written instructions). But hearing the instructions may be a better way to relax into the process.
To give guided imagery a whirl, follow the following steps.

🌀Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down. Close your eyes.
🌀Take a few deep breaths to help you relax.
🌀Picture a setting that is calm and peaceful. This could be a beach, a mountain setting, a field, or a scene that you choose.
🌀Add some detail to your scene..
* For example, is there a breeze? How does it feel? What do you smell? What does the sky look like? Is it clear, or are there clouds?
* It often helps to add a path to your scene. For example, as you enter the field, imagine a path leading you through the field to the trees on the other side. As you follow the path farther into the field, you feel more and more relaxed.
🌀Take a few minutes to breathe slowly and feel the calm. This is best done when you are deep into your scene and are feeling relaxed.
🌀Think of a "return" cue. Think of a simple word or sound that you can use in the future to help you return to this place.
🌀Exit from your scene. When you are ready, slowly take yourself out of the scene and back to the present. Tell yourself that you will feel relaxed and refreshed and will bring your sense of calm with you.
🌀Count to 5, and open your eyes. Notice how good you feel right now 💖

Look Inwards…
We all have three eyes 👁️ 👁️ 👁️
Two for looking out and one for looking in 🪞
Why would we want to look in when everything is happening 'out there'? 🤷‍♀️
Because the treasure we seek is inside, not outside 💎
What is treasure?
Beauty, truth, peace, happiness 🤩
You already have what you seek.
You already are stunningly beautiful 😍
You are already peaceful and loving 🥰
How come you don't know this 🤷‍♀️
Simple, you never look inwards, beyond superficial memories or recent experiences, so you never see your own riches 🤩
Take a moment to stop, look in and see.
Don't rush 🏎️
Take your time 🕗
Don't search 🔍
Just look 👀
And be aware 💓💗💖
