š Know the Signs. Protect Your Health. š
Ovarian cancer is often called the "silent killer" because its symptoms can be vague and easy to overlook. In 2023 alone, more than 1,200 people were diagnosed with this disease. There is no early detection test, so awareness is key!
Persistent symptoms to watch for:
Abdominal bloating or increased size
Ongoing pelvic or abdominal pain
Feeling full quickly when eating
Frequent or urgent need to urinate
Other warning signs include changes in bowel habits, unexplained weight changes, excessive fatigue, lower back pain, indigestion, and abnormal bleeding.
Most of these symptoms can be caused by less serious conditions, but if they persist, donāt ignore themāsee your GP.
Early action can save lives.
