Just had a great haircut and chat with Tony, the owner of Park Ave Barbers & Stylists
These guys help provide outreach with local homeless supports, and Tony was using a great beard balm that their company have switched to made by a local veteran 🤟🤩

Tough, physical work, poor job security and a macho culture that condemns the vulnerable. No wonder Australia's tradies are at high risk of breakdown and su***de.

The 2021 Census identified that of the 15 regions with the highest veteran populations, 12 are in Queensland.
Gold Coast (13,577), Sunshine Coast (12,485), and Wide Bay (12,312) have the highest population of ex-serving ADF personnel but have again been passed over in the Veterans’ and Families’ Hub Expansion.
