Casual Disability Support Worker
Listen Support Services is a new and upcoming support agency that specialises in adults with physical disabilities such as muscular dystrophy, cerebral palsy and quadriplegia.

Hourly rate of $33p/h incl. super + Shift Penalties
This role will require you to be able to fully support clients with all activities of daily living in home and in the community. This includes personal hygiene, feeding, hoist transfers, and light household duties. Travel to medical appointments, shopping and other community actives will be involved.
To be successful in this industry you must have a servant heart. Our clients needs explicitly come first. You must also possess a keen eye for possible risks to both yourself and the client.
Essential Requirements:
Experience caring for people with high care needs
Experience using hoists and manual handling
Qualifications relevant to the role (minimum Cert 3 in Disability, Individual Support or Aged Care)
Current Working with vulnerable people (blue card)
Current First Aid Certificate
Police check
Strong sense of professional boundaries
This role may be suited for university students studying a relevant healthcare field (eg. nursing, physiotherapy, occupational therapy) or a healthcare professional wanting to take a step back into a more relaxed role. Specialised training will be provided to the right client.
