We cannot agree more with this! We put participants needs first. Ndis was created to help those living with a disability not to just line pockets.

Home modifications and why we decided that we wanted to make a difference. As a nurse with over 20 years experience I have worked in many areas with the disability sector being where my passion is, I assisted a new company with nursing assessments. While on a home visit I saw a gentleman doing “home modifications” as the lady needed a small ramp for access to her front door for her wheelie walker. I was absolutely shocked to see this person charge a ludicrous amount for packing up sand and laying a mat over it and then charge $600. I went home to my husband who is a Builder/Construction manager with over 25 years experience and he was also appalled at the way people are receiving second class home modifications with first class rates. This is where we decided we wanted to be part of that change that saw NDIS participants receive first class service and not be ripped off.
