A gentle reminder this festive season 🤍
You won’t undo months of intentional preconception work by enjoying a few drinks over Christmas. Fertility isn’t made or broken by one day or one week. It’s shaped by what you do most of the time.
Is alcohol “good” for egg and s***m health? No, and I’ll always be honest about that.
But neither is chronic stress, anxiety, or feeling like you have to be perfect to conceive.
From a fertility lens, relaxation, connection, joy and feeling safe in your body matter deeply too.
If you do choose to drink, think moderation with presence:
• Alternate with soda water, mineral water or kombucha
• Aim to keep it to 1–3 drinks
• Choose quality over quantity and really savour it
• Eat first, hydrate well, and stop when it no longer feels good
• Protect your peace. No guilt, no spiralling, no “I’ve ruined everything” stories
Preconception care is a long game.
What you do 90% of the time carries far more weight than a few festive moments of enjoyment.
Be kind to your nervous system.
