Our goal is to introduce preclinical medical students to the breadth of womenโs health, and to empower clinical students to explore the scope of the profession beyond the university curriculum. We believe BUOGS events will allow medical students to explore and nurture an interest in womenโs health, as this is not only relevant for students who choose to specialise as OBGYNs, but nearly all specialities such as general practitioners, emergency physicians etc. This society will also provide an opportunity to advocate for womenโs health by fundraising for different womenโs health organisations, allowing students and the medical program at Bond University to give back to the community.
