Gold Coast Eisteddfod is a competition for Bands, Orchestras, Instrumental Groups, String/Brass/Wind Instruments, Pianoforte, Choral, Vocal, Speech & Drama, Speech Choirs, Dance and Children & Young People with Disability.

Where Are They Now? Channelle Moussa

Since performing at GCE I have released 5 songs on multiple platforms Apple Music , ITunes , Spotify, YouTube my songs are Loving River Moon and Stars Collide ,Awake my Soul and I Cherish you and Leap Over The Fire. I have met amazing artists like Dylan Wright and Artists from Sheppard. I have been writing music everyday and I love singing pop songs still.
I performed at GCE back in 2022 and I will be performing again this year

Where are they now with our board member (oh and it’s her birthday today! Happy Birthday Carla 🩷)

Carla Tooma is a TV presenter and reporter, appearing on 9News Gold Coast and the TODAY Show. Prior to television, she spent more than a decade as a journalist and radio announcer with 1029 Hot Tomato and myGC.com.au.

A passionate storyteller and experienced host, Carla regularly MCs major corporate and community events across South East Queensland. In 2026, she also began lecturing at Bond University, where she mentors the next generation of reporters.

A professional singer and actor with credits across stage and screen, Carla has worked as a performing arts adjudicator and serves as a Board Director for the Gold Coast Eisteddfod.
