Where are they now?

Isabelle Hancock who last performed at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod in 2019 where she became not only the Most promising Jazz Dancer 13/ Over but also SENIOR Grand Champion Soloist in Dance.
Since then Isabelle successfully completed her Diploma in Dance at Brent Street in Sydney with HONOURS! Once she turned 18 Isabelle gained her first contract with Celebrity Cruiselines. She is now on her 5th contract just shy of her 23rd birthday.

Where are they now? .c_

Since competing at GCE in both dance and singing/musical theatre solo’s & groups for a number of years growing up, Zarah Carmichael has been up to a lot of different things!!! She loves the vibe that Gold Coast Eisteddfod brings to dancers on the coast; it’s such a beautiful experience, and she certainly misses it :)

Initially, she took a step back from dance in 2021 (during Covid times), to complete a certificate IV in Crime & Justice, later beginning a university degree in Criminology & Psychological Science. After a couple years, she deferred the course to start back up her dancing dreams again. Since then, she has performed a tap piece at ‘Good Things Festival’ (a major rock / metal music festival), and also recently represented Australia in 2025 at the ‘IDO World Tap Dance Championships’, located in Prague, Czech Repbublic 🇨🇿🤍

She also teaches dance at 2 studios and started modelling, whilst also working at a retail store :) She adores the students she teaches as they are hard working and dedicated to their craft 💃♥️
