My garage has over 50 years' worth of tools in there. Literally.

Some are my grandfather's, some are my father's, some are even my brother's & partner's but they are scattered EVERYWHERE.

I haven't even made a dent.
But I have made sections & in those sections, I have made categories. These categories keep everything simple.

It's nice to get down to the bone on this house for once & really organise it properly.

Mental health can stop us from doing almost everything if we allow it.
It's fine to slow down, but don't ever stop! 🤩

When was the last time you changed your sheets?
It is one of the more annoying tasks, but it stops:
- beg bugs
- skin allergies & break-outs
- asthma & so much more! 🤧

Another reminder:
Depending on where you live in the world, you should also regularly clean your mattress every 3-6 months.
In hotter climates, it's best to clean your mattress every 2-4 months 🥵

How to clean a mattress:
- remove bedding & vaccum up all dirt build-up
- grab a wet cloth & spot clean areas that are needed
- baking soda!✨️ Sprinkle baking soda over the whole mattress, but also add a little extra on the damp parts! Leave for as long as possible; best left for a minimum of 1hr (repeat steps if necessary)
- vacuum to remove baking soda & continue your bedding routine! 🩷
Tip: it helps if you also have a spot clean wet & dry vacuum!

Depression hits hard.
We can go weeks... even months without caring for ourselves.

If you have trouble:
- brushing your teeth
- brushing your hair
- having a shower

Set boundaries & become your own role model!
Start small & I mean real small.

- brush your teeth once a day, the toothpaste may say twice.. but we will get there!
Tip: Do NOT rinse your toothpaste after you are done. The ingredients inside the paste work even after you are finished with it!

- brushing your hair is more important than you think.
Over time, hair can get damaged & fall apart if not cared for & we want you to keep those luxurious locks!
A quick brush at night will help you get back on track. It only takes 5 minutes!

- we all know how challenging having a shower can be. Some showers can be 5 minutes or 20 minutes.
Do I wash my hair? Do I shave my legs?
The answer is no matter if I wash my hair, shave my legs or just have a soapy shower... I'm in the shower!
Which means I'm one step closer to a better self care routine than I was yesterday.
