Yoga for menopause: A path to empowered wellbeing
In 2024, I had the honour of completing a Yoga Teacher Training focused on menopause wellbeing with the incredible Margot Porter—an experience that truly changed the way I view this life transition. This year, I was fortunate to assist her in delivering the training, and I continue to feel deep gratitude for the wisdom I’ve gained.
What I was reminded of: knowledge is power.
When we understand what's happening within us—on a physical level (hormonal changes, shifts in our brain, bones, muscles), on an emotional level (the waves of feeling that can take us by surprise), and on a spiritual level (the call to shed, awaken, and rise)—we feel less overwhelmed and more connected to our experience.
Menopause is not a medical problem to fix. It is a powerful initiation, a natural evolution, and if well supported, it can be both challenging and soft, confronting and deeply nourishing. Yoga, mindfulness, and sisterhood offer exactly the kind of support we need.
That’s why we are hosting Wise Woman Rising — a one-day retreat designed to hold you in this sacred space of transition.
