Creative Circles by Lucent Flow Creative Circles is changing to Lucent Flow as it grows into something new. Always a work in progress. More info coming soon. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Creative Circles offers creative art workshops and art therapy programs for individuals and groups. Sessions are specifically designed with the participant in mind. Art therapy sessions may explore personal or societal issues, offer playful explorations, increase emotional regulation, promote increased insight and self-esteem, and provide opportunities for mindfulness and self-care. Creative Circles aims to be aware of the diverse intersections of culture and provide accessible and inclusive programs. Suggestions are most welcome.

Felt so inspired to be part of this workshop with Ali from Assorted Grains Inc for the Krank series at the beautiful and welcoming Kingston East Neighbourhood Group.

Everyone creates such different works from the same theme, and they all belong and fit together perfectly. In our differences we find new meanings.

09/07/2025

This year's NAIDOC theme marks 50 years of a movement—a journey of justice, rights, culture, and identity.

It’s a call to empower the next generation to rise strong, guided by the wisdom of Elders and the strength of community.
SEWB connects past, present, and future – it’s about who we are, where we come from, and who walks beside us.

WellMob aligns with this years NAIDOC theme of
🔸 Strength – All the Resources on WellMob are made by mob, for mob to keep us feeling strong and deadly.
🔸 Vision – WellMob is an online website that equips health workers to deliver SEWB-informed, culturally grounded mental health care support.
🔸 Legacy – WellMob has Best practice training tools for embedding SEWB in workforce development, ensuring lasting impact across generations.

Culturally safe care acknowledges that wellbeing is collective, cultural, and grounded in connection to Country, kinship, identity, and spirit.

Healing work must honour the legacy of survival and resistance, while building the strength and resilience of young leaders and clients today.

Happy NAIDOC!

Such a lovely art gathering with GC Creatives LGBTQIASB+ yesterday. Norton of Retritus led a botanical brush making workshop and it was absolutely delightful. We drank tea, had great chats, more tea, got to be creative together, heard about ancient crafts, learnt a new skill. Ziggy was very helpful, and got all the pats.

Next month’s art groups is on Sunday 29th June, and we’ll be playing with printmaking and collage. We’ll also be celebrating Pride Month.

It’s held at the Broadbeach Community Centre every month on the lands of the Kombumerri peoples of the Yugambeh language region.
