An update on my recovery

It has been an interesting two months with ongoing investigations into the cause of my sudden blindness, with suggestions ranging from auto-immune conditions, cancer, and the ultimate 'we just don't know.' It has been a journey to say the least.

The good news is, I'm slowly re-gaining energy by the day, the bad news is I still have many tests to explore what's going on inside.

As a health-care professional, being fit, eating well, and looking after myself has allowed my body to regain energy quickly. And although I feel good, there is that constant reminder that this can happen to anyone, but we are so supported in recovery through our healthy life choices, and of course maintaining a light heart and sense of humour (sometimes easier said than done).

Thank you to the beautiful community who have been so understanding through this time. I love that we can all flow together always through life's challenges as well as.growth, and also keep seeing the potential within our lives without beating down on what isn't going so well. I truly love you all.

Big hugs from me to you, and I look forward to continue sharing with you all on the mat. Nicole x
