Was strapped for time today but 5 different exercises, 10-12 reps back to back with minimum rest in between 3 sets and I'm off to get ready for work and take a quick selfie lol 💦 At the moment I use light weights and focus on technique and tensing the muscles I'm wanting to target. I'm usually at the gym alone so I'm a tad scared to for example bench press heavier than what I currently am comfortable with in case of me not being able to get the bar back on the to the rack 😅 but I'm definitely aiming to lift heavier and interested to see the changes it has on my body. So if anyone is ever keen to join me at the gym and be my spotting partner, hāere mai! I'm no pro, not at all, but I really enjoy it and it's the time I love to work on myself! I tend to find inspiration in some of the instagram pages I follow, which I will usually incorporate certain exercises they use and choose roughly 8 I like or are keen to try and superset them doing between 10-12 reps and 3 sets. Every day is different, I usually just work on parts of my body that's not too sore so I can really put in the effort. So since being on holidays and doing nothing but walking and eating/bulking 😋 I did full body workouts with a 10minute inclined walk to warm my body up and stretched before getting in to it for the first two days to wake my body up. Yesterday morning I did upper body using just the cable machine which I love, and in the afternoon my friend Ange Dobbie and I focused on our booty's and legs mixing it up with a bit of heavy machines and workout bands which I'm obsessed with too and today my chest! So with the eating and I are currently doing adding in protein shakes too I'm feeling pretty good, though my body is sore it's the good kind of sore!
