To all my wonderful parents, carers and families.

On Saturday we wrapped up the year with our final kids yoga class. It was a joyful, Christmas-themed session full of movement, laughter and calm little moments.

I’d love to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a beautiful, relaxing day with your loved ones 🎅🎄🎁
I can’t wait to see my little yogis again early in 2026!

Ages 6–12 years and no yoga experience needed at all, just come along and have fun!

Feel free to drop the kids off and enjoy a peaceful walk around Oxenford Lake or grab a coffee close by.

THERAPY DOG YOGA FOR KIDS

Imagine your child starting the weekend in a calm, safe, loving space…
Soft music playing… gentle breathing… slow stretching… and a beautiful, calm therapy dog resting nearby, offering quiet comfort and connection.

This is what our Kids Therapy Dog Yoga classes are all about!

In these special sessions, children are guided through:
🧘‍♀️ Gentle yoga poses to support balance, strength & body awareness
🌬 Soothing breathing exercises to calm busy minds & big feelings
🎵 Relaxing sound healing with musical instruments
🐶 Mindful connection with a trained therapy dog in the room

A therapy dog brings something truly magical to the space:
✨ Emotional regulation – children naturally soften and slow down around a calm, loving dog
✨ Confidence & self-esteem – a non-judgmental friend who simply accepts them as they are
✨ Sensory comfort – soft fur, gentle presence and a feeling of safety
✨ Reduced anxiety – stroking or simply being near the dog supports nervous system regulation
✨ Social connection – shared smiles, kindness and gentle interactions
✨ A sense of joy – because moving, breathing and relaxing with a dog nearby just feels good

These classes can be especially supportive for children who:
💛 Experience anxiety or stress
💛 Are neurodivergent or highly sensitive
💛 Find it hard to slow down or switch off
💛 Benefit from regulated, predictable, gentle environments

NDIS Participants welcome – if your child has NDIS funding for therapeutic supports, this class may be suitable to align with their goals around emotional regulation, social skills, confidence and wellbeing.

Happy Wednesday!!

Our Kids Yoga classes started back on Saturday, and it was so lovely seeing all my little yogis again! The smiles, the giggles, the calm moments... I missed it all!

Maisey, our gorgeous therapy dog, was back too and she absolutely loved seeing the kids. Just look at this cute photo of her snuggled up with one of our yogis during meditation… my heart! 🧘‍
