These are just some of the favourite Children's Wellbeing Cards the children I care for love! 'Lion's Breath' is always a favourite... breathing in through your nose, and as you breathe out, roar like a lion! The children also extended on this and further used their imaginations by pretending to be a dinosaur instead of a lion, and creating a similar 'Roar'!! 'Rainbow breathing' is also popular, by pretending to draw a rainbow in the sky or trace your finger along the rainbow as you breathe in and out. These breathing techniques help to calm our bodies, manage emotions and balance our moods, while boosting serotonin levels. Which is your favourite breathing strategy? 💖
