🍲 The energetics of food in Ayurveda refers to the subtle qualities and vibrational impact that food has on the body, mind, and spirit.

✨ The Three Gunas and Food Energetics ✨
Every food carries a mental energy based on the three gunas:

🔷Sattva: Clarity & Balance:

Energy: Pure, harmonious, life-enhancing
Effect on Mind: Calm, clear, joyful, creative
Examples: Fresh fruits, seasonal vegetables, whole grains, ghee, soaked nuts, herbal teas

🔷Rajas: Activity & Stimulation

Energy: Dynamic, fiery, outward-moving
Effect on Mind: Ambitious, restless, reactive, competitive
Examples: Spicy foods, coffee, fried dishes, salty snacks, sour pickles

🔷Tamas: Inertia & Heaviness

Energy: Dull, stagnant, heavy
Effect on Mind: Lethargy, confusion, resistance, depression
Examples: Leftovers, processed food, preserved meat, alcohol, stale bread

Ask yourself:
- Does this food make me feel light, energised, and clear (Sattva)?
