The Role

We’re looking for a reliable and personable Receptionist/Optical Assistant to join our team.

This role is primarily focused on reception and administration, making you one of the key faces of the practice and the first point of contact for our patients. For the right person, there is opportunity to grow into optical dispensing through ongoing training and support.

Hours
Monday, Wednesday & Friday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Every second Saturday: 9:00am - 1:00pm
Flexibility to work additional hours as needed
What You’ll Bring

Strong communication skills across face-to-face, phone, and written interactions
Confidence using computer systems and learning new software
A warm, professional approach with the ability to build rapport quickly
Strong organisational skills and ability to multitask
A calm, solutions-focused mindset in a busy environment
Proven reliability and punctuality (this is essential for the role)
Experience

Previous experience in retail or customer service is highly regarded
Optical experience is not required - full training will be provided
