You can't always see illness in a person. There are so many invisible illnesses.

The amount of times people have said to me "you're looking so good" when in truth I was struggling and falling apart behind the scenes, as many others do.

Being open is hard, it brings pity and statements such as "stop sooking", "you're overreacting", " you'll be fine", when in reality you know you are definitely not fine.

These statements are not only unhelpful, they make the person feel unheard, unimportant and can lead to depression.

If someone close to you needs to talk about something they're going through, stop and listen. Really listen.

Ask what you can do to help or make it easier. Sometimes a listening ear is all that's needed. Sometimes they may ask for help.

Pay attention to their needs. Everyone matters 🩵

When you feel low, unwell, bone tired, stressed etc, you don't give your best.

At what stage do you stop the feelings of guilt, fear, anger and stress reactions?

At what stage do you say "I matter"?

People will allow you to do as much as you offer. It's up to you to say no.

If you have trouble saying no just tell them you can't today, maybe next week if that works?

Look after yourself. If you were an onlooker, what advice would you give your stressed out self?

Reiki is a safe, non invasive, gentle yet powerful ancient Japanese healing art.

Symbols have been found in historical sites across the globe, including the pyramids.

It was lost for many years through displacement due to natural weather events and wars. Nothing was ever written. It was such a sacred art it was almost a secret society.

Today, we know so much more. Symbols for example cannot be activated by anyone who is not attuned, nor can they be used for ill intent

It is gaining traction in a world craving healing. It's an intelligent energy, going where it's needed most.

Our Story

While I’ve been teaching for over 20 years, it wasn’t until I moved to Victoria in 2015 that Your Spirit Coach was born from a group of curious closet spiritual peeps. Originally I just wanted to let people know what it was about but it has grown and now I am using my skills from way back to offer services in energy and crystal healing, reiki (teaching as a reiki master), courses, both online and live, plus after many years of avoiding it, I am now back doing readings. Spreading light and love with a dash of kidnapped dogs and unicorns.
