Just a quick FIRST AID update
Everyone who has completed First Aid Training/certificate through Heart Start Training Services will automatically get a annual reminder to do CPR.
It has been confirmed with AHPRA, you are only required to do CPR yearly OR PFA every 3years. Majority of chiropractors choose the 3yearly. If so please ignore the CPR email reminder unless you would like to maintain a CPR certificate.
Please note if your PFA is expiring or you would like to do your CPR update over xmas or early new year, I will be available at the Greenock Studio Barossa Valley for 1 on 1 or small groups of 4 most days other than public holidays.

The CPD standard requires you to maintain a first aid qualification at least equivalent to the HLTAID001 Provide cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (valid for one year and needs to be updated each year). You may choose to meet this requirement by holding a first aid qualification equivalent to HLTAID003 Provide First Aid (valid for three years and needs to be updated every three years).
The Board is aware that there have been updates made to First Aid training units in 2021. The updates have resulted in the change of codes. For the purposes of the requirements of the registration standard the following are considered equivalent:Superseded unitsNew units

HTLAID011 Provide first aid

I’ll be in West Beach from Thursday 28th to Sunday 31st August and have availability for any Chiropractors needing to refresh their First Aid certification.

Practical session: 75 minutes (up to 4 people per session)

This page has been set up for easy contact with me to arrange and/or advertise your next first aid course.
All first aid and CPR training remains exactly the same; fast efficient and customised to suit you or your groups needs. Practical sessions are 1-2 hours plus online theory, ideal for refreshers and the time poor.
Onsite training at your space of work or home continues, ideally a group of 5-10 for me to travel or feel free to make a day of it and book in a time at my relaxing Greenock Studio in the Barossa Valley.

Please note: Greenock studio may on certain days have a labrador puppy in training to become a service dog. Unfortunatley this puppy will be in a coat and you will be unable to interact with it. However, we have a 4yr old labrador service dog whom is available if you choose for love and interaction during your training session.

Meet Ilka 🥰
Ilka is our resident breeding service dog at the Greenock Studio. She may greet you at the front door or studio gate and is very well behaved with big and little humans.
All first aid practical training sessions are 30mins to 1.25hrs for up to 4 participants. Please allow extra time for love and pats with Ilka☺️
Ilka will not be present in all training sessions however if you would like to know more about Ilka please feel free to ask.
