Northwest Family Medical will be closed from 4pm Friday 20th December and will open again from 8.30am Monday 6th January 2025.
We ask that if any of our patients require last minute follow-up appointments, scripts or referrals over the closure period, to please organise this in a timely manner to avoid any disappointment.

The Role

We are looking for a Casual Practice Nurse to join Northwest Family Medical. Someone, to be a key member, working collaboratively with an experienced team of Nurses and General Practitioners, providing high quality and comprehensive care for all patients.

The Tasks

- Performing health assessments
- Administering vaccines and immunisations
- Post vaccination observations and monitoring
- Triaging patients and prioritization of emergency situations
- Assisting GP with minor procedures
- Coordination, management and maintenance of clinical data
- Wound dressing and removal of sutures
- Health education and coaching to support patients with achievement of their goals.

The Successful Candidate

- AHPRA registered Registered Nurse or Enrolled Nurse
- Proven prior experience in General Practice or acute setting
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- A passion for people and a personable approach
- Excellent written and verbal skills
