Have you noticed any changes to your breasts lately? With October being month, this is your friendly reminder to know the facts, know the symptoms and to remember to perform regular self-exams and schedule routine screenings.

If you do find something that may be of concern, or notice any changes in your breasts, we encourage you to see your GP immediately. Breast self-examination should be done in addition to, and not as a substitute for yearly breast examinations. Breast screening mammograms are recommended every two years (these are available through BreastScreen QLD).

BRAS Clinic is not a breast cancer screening service, but we provide review services to women with breast implants, which is an important aspect of staying on top of your breast health.
