We’re pleased to announce the launch of our new gastroenterology practice in Richmond, bringing specialist digestive health services closer to families across the Hawkesbury region.

This expansion is led by Dr Kieran Longley, strengthening access to timely, high-quality care for patients in an area with significant need for improved digestive health services — particularly bowel cancer screening and early detection.

As part of Australia’s largest gastroenterology network, this new service aims to reduce delays in diagnosis and treatment, support local GPs with rapid specialist access, and provide care closer to home for patients.

Dr Raftopulos is a tertiary trained Paediatric & Adult ENT Surgeon (MBBS BSc(Med) FRACS (OHNS)) with a special focus on paediatric ENT, rhinology, sinus disorders, allergy, and sleep surgery. He is expanding his successful Eastern Suburbs practice (Edgecliff) to the Hawkesbury region, bringing world-class ENT care directly to our local families.

With extensive training at Sydney Children’s Hospital, Westmead Children’s Hospital, and an international fellowship in advanced sinus and skull base surgery in The Netherlands, Dr Raftopulos is a leader in his field. He is a published researcher, co-author of the European Position Paper on Sinus Disease (EPOS2020), and is well-regarded for his gentle bedside manner and outstanding patient-focused care.

As a father of four young children himself, he truly understands the worry parents face when their kids are struggling with ear, nose, or throat problems.
