She noticed when the shampoo was running low.
She researched, planned, followed up, and followed through.

And she did it all quietly, without anyone asking her to.

This Mother’s Day, we’re not celebrating what Mum does.
We’re finally talking about what she carries to get it done.

The mental load is real. The exhaustion is real.

Stress doesn’t always switch off when the moment passes.

For many people living with ongoing stress or symptoms of PTSD, the nervous system can stay in a constant state of alert making it hard to relax, sleep deeply or feel at ease in your own body.

Supporting the nervous system is an important part of managing this, and creating space for the body to slow down can make a real difference over time.

At City Cave Richmond, our services are designed to gently guide your body out of that heightened state and into rest.

🌊 Float therapy helps reduce external stimulation, allowing the mind and body to fully switch off.

🔥 Infrared sauna promotes relaxation and can assist in lowering stress levels.

❄️ Ice showers and contrast therapy may help regulate your stress response and build resilience.

❤️ Red light therapy supports recovery and overall wellbeing.

💆🏽Massage helps release stored tension while calming the nervous system.

Lest we forget ❤️

This Anzac Day, we pause to honour, remember and show our deepest respect to those who have served and sacrificed.

City Cave Richmond will be closed as we take this time for reflection.

Amanda has been a City Cave Richmond member for the past 18 months, making time for her monthly reset something she genuinely looks forward to.

She often says “tomorrow is my City Cave day” and you can feel what it means to her. It’s not just the treatments, it’s the people and the team that make her feel so welcome every time she walks in.

For Amanda, it’s a chance to switch off from the outside world and step straight into calm. The sauna helps ease her arthritic pain, and the float brings everything back to centre.

She describes it as a full nervous system reset, something that supports her physically, mentally and spiritually.

Floating, she says, is the most free feeling she’s ever had.

We’ll be operating on adjusted hours over the long weekend as we take time to honour and reflect.
