This week, Pharmacy Guild Of Australia - Victoria Branch Vice President Paul Krassaris, joined Health Minister Mary-Anne Thomas MP in visiting the team at Terry White Chemmart Rosebud: Prestige Cosmetic Houses, led by Gary Smethurst.

Upper House member for Eastern Victoria, Tom McIntosh MP, also joined the visit to see first-hand how Gary's team are continually improving the pharmacy's capability deliver the care their community needs through the Community Pharmacy Program as more conditions are added over the next two years.

The Minister's tour included a look-in at their Care Clinic consulting rooms, the Webster packing robot, and even a quick meet and greet with one of her constituents enjoying Rosebud's scenic beach vistas during these school holidays.

A huge congratulations to husband and wife superstars, Gary and Ann, on officially reopening Maldon Pharmacy!

Local MP and Speaker of the Legislative Assembly in Victoria, Maree Edwards MP, said "everybody loves our local pharmacy," acknowledging the role Gary and Ann, as well as their wonderful staff have played in supporting local healthcare, community-building, and job opportunities over the 16 years they have owned the business.

Emceed by Pharmacy Guild Of Australia - Victoria Branch Vice President Kin Chong, the event was wonderfully attended by local patients, friends of the owners and staff, and TerryWhite Chemmart now that the pharmacy has joined TWC.

“It’s so exciting to be able to treat more conditions,” said pharmacist Kevin Wu from Blooms The Chemist Ballarat North when talking about Victoria’s Community Pharmacist Program.

Kevin was joined at his pharmacy by Health Minister Mary-Anne Thomas MP and Member for Wendouree Juliana Addison MP on World Pharmacists Day yesterday to talk about how pharmacists are doing more for patients.

With 58,000 consultations already provided under the program, which is due to expand to 22 conditions over the next two years, patients are benefiting from accessing affordable and accessible healthcare at their local community pharmacy.
