Looks like something Dr Christian may have written!
Plagiocephaly is merely an asymmetry or change to the normal shape of the skull.
We can see many different types of this, ranging from flattening on one side to just flat at the back, and conditions causing this range from simple positional deformation to the more serious and complex synostosis.
But we won’t talk about that one today, let’s focus instead on simple deformational or positional plagiocephaly.
