Amputee Support Group Gold Coast Inc Hi We are a local support group for Amputees & their family and carers. If you are a new amputee we We are, at all times just a phone call away.

We are a Gold Coast, Queensland based voluntary organisation with a widespread membership and have been established since 1986. Our aim is for Amputees to support each other through exchange of experiences, and to pass on information gathered from State and Federal organisations. We have meetings and social functions, however our main source of communication is through our Quarterly newsletter… “T

HE MISSING BITS”

We are a self-help group, run by Amputees and their families and do not receive any Government funding. On request, we will visit and talk with Amputees in Hospital, at home or in Rehabilitation Units. We will provide understanding, encouragement and practical support. Our Association is open to any Amputee or to anyone who is interested in supporting Amputees. The management committee meets quarterly and visitors are welcome.
