EXPECT LONG DELAYS 🚧 SUPERANNUATION 💸
The government's mandatory savings plan for Australians. The catch? You don’t see that money for decades! 😩⌛
How does it work? Your employer sets aside for your future/retired self (minimum 11% of your earnings) 🏝️😎 Do you know your rate? Do you get more than the minimum 11%? 📈
Why can't we have a choice? 😤 Aren't we entitled to the money we earn? 🤔 Well, it’s far cheaper for the government to make it mandatory for employer's to contribute to your super now, than rely on funding your Aged Pension later 😬💸
So, even though we have to wait forever to access it, next time you check your payslip, give a nod to future you for getting that super top-up without lifting a finger! 🙌 💼

The ATO knows that the last thing us Aussies want to spend our paycheck on, is tax ☠️ This is why your employer deducts and sends tax to the ATO for you - as shown on your payslip 💰
So if it wasn’t this way… You’d have to pay this as a huge lump sum at the end of the financial year! 😨🙅♂️💸
