Hello… we are moving towards our Connect app for sharing photos and information

What is Connect?
Connect is a free app that helps you stay connected with your loved one living in an Estia Health home.
Through Connect, you can;
* see what’s happening in the home
* message a resident or share photos and videos with them
* view the latest lifestyle calendar detailing the engaging activities on offer for our residents
* view the current menu of nutritious meals prepared daily by our onsite chef
* receive the latest COVID-19 updates
* provide feedback and complete the app survey
* easily contact the home
* and more.
All this information in one easy place on your mobile phone.
This app is designed for family and friends of our current residents. Once your loved one is living in one of our homes, we can register you on our app system. You can then download the app for free and start connecting, however you will need to be invited by the primary contact of the resident

Some of our residents over 2 nights enjoyed the amazing Christmas lights of Hervey Bay…they were still talking about it the next day.. was wonderful listening to the Oohs…and Ahhhhs and WOW’s 🤶🏼🥰🎄

Well the festive season has started as we start to decorate our home🎄the tinsel and baubles are appearing everywhere 🎅
Our residents are keen to decorate their doors as the competition heats up 🎄families and friends are welcome to help by assisting with decorating 🎉 judging will be done on the morning of the 21/12 🎅🎄🏠

Last week more fun with a Fairy bread High Tea for Fairy Bread Day, with a fairy bread making competition and poetry readings written by a resident 👏, a sensory exercise where residents had to put their hands in a box and identify what it was by touch, and some of our Memory support craft and bus trip ❤️⭐️😃

As part of our Calendar, once a month we do a ‘Food Event’ the month of September took us to Mexico 🇲🇽 residents are encouraged to go up and choose their meal taking in the sights and smells, and some fun in arm chair travel 🧳

The residents continue to love playing active games and art is becoming a favourite amongst our residents ⭐️❤️ and like always we love a concert 🎶 ❤️

International food events are a regular monthly calendar event at Estia Hervey Bay, August took us to India Arm chair travel and an Indian banquet 🇮🇳🎉 The feedback from the residents was they loved it 😊

This week we said our goodbyes to our wonderful Maintenance man John ❤️⭐️ John has been at the home from the very beginning and he is loved by many of our residents and staff, always there to help everyone with any sort of maintenance issues, we wish him well on his next adventure of semi retirement 👏🏝️⭐️

This week we have enjoyed the sunshine the music, dancing our way to Friday…stopping to smell the flowers 🌸 along the way 🏝️🏠🌈❤️
