As a health coach, I always emphasize the importance of being organized and prepared, especially when it comes to maintaining a healthy lifestyle. At the start of each week, I recommend taking the time to wash and prep your fruits and vegetables, so they’re ready to grab and go. Making fresh juices in advance is my non negotiable and something I do twice a week. This simple habit sets you up for success, making it easier to stay on track with your health goals, no matter how busy life gets.

We often invest time and effort in keeping our homes clean and organized, but how much attention do we give to cleansing our bodies? Just as a tidy home creates a healthy living environment, detoxifying and cleansing our bodies ensures we operate at our best. Our bodies, like our homes, accumulate toxins and impurities over time. By incorporating regular detox practices and nourishing ourselves with raw, cold-pressed juices, fresh fruit & vegetables, herbs and spices, we can repair our systems, boost our energy levels, and achieve optimal health. Remember, the most important house to clean is your own body 💜

Today, I lifted weights at the gym, took over 15,000 steps, and enjoyed my non negotiable celery juice and daily smoothie. These might seem like small actions, but they're the building blocks of a healthier lifestyle. Remember, it's not about making huge changes overnight. It's about consistently choosing better options, day after day.

Every step, every healthy meal, and every workout session counts. These small habits add up to big results over time. Stay consistent, stay motivated, and watch how these little changes transform your health and well-being.

In October last year I had a client who came to me with unexplained weight gain, and desperately wanted help to lose the weight as she had tried everything. After analysis of her eye photos and exploring various potential contributing factors, my focus was to support her liver. The liver plays a crucial role in weight management and is responsible for detoxification, metabolism and the regulation of hormones. As you can see from her eye photo she has a distinctive mark in the liver zone in her right eye called a psora. This can be an area of toxicity in the body as well as mental and emotional connections to that area. The liver is where we hold anger, resentment and frustration. We were able to address the physical and emotional aspects of her liver health and developed an effective protocol to help her manage her overall health and weight management. Eight months later she has gone from a size 16 to a size 10-12 and is feeling so much healthier and happy!
This is the power of iridology which can really assist in getting to the root cause of health issues.

🌿 Let's talk about one of my absolute favorite green smoothie recipe. Recently, a good friend came to stay, and I made this for her! These delicious green smoothie bowls take less than 5 minutes to make and will honestly keep you full for hours!

Here's what we used:

Frozen bananas, mango, and pineapple for a tropical twist
Fresh cucumber and celery for a refreshing crunch
A scoop of greens powder (optional, but adds an extra boost of nutrients)
A mix of coconut water and plant-based milk for creaminess
A sprinkle of h**p seeds for added protein and avocado for healthy fats
A drizzle of maple syrup for sweetness
Blend it all together until smooth, pour into bowls, and top with your favorite toppings for a nutritious and satisfying meal or snack.

This green smoothie is not only delicious but also packed with vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants to nourish your body from the inside out. Give it a try and let me know what you think! 🌱💚

As the weather cools down, there's nothing quite like a delicious bowl of soup. Today I have a sweet potato recipe that I thought I would share as I think it’s pretty delicious, nutritious & easy to make.

But first, a fun fact about sweet potatoes and the "doctrine of signatures." Did you know that sweet potato, with their resemblance to the pancreas, are believed to offer benefits for this organ? The pancreas plays a vital role in the bodies digestive system. It not only produces insulin to reduce blood sugar, it secretes bicarbonate soda into the small intestine to help neutralise the acids from the stomach.

Some symptoms that your pancreas might need some extra love are; blood sugar problems, fatigue, indigestion, allergies and incomplete digestion in small intestine from poor absorption from too much acid in the intestines. And mentally & emotionally one may have a sugar addiction and the inability to savour the “sweetness” of life.

So the remedy? Eat sweet potato’s, have fun and laugh more, finding sweetness and beauty in all situations ⭐️ 😍

🍠Sweet potato soup 🍠

4 MEDIUM SIZED SWEET POTATOES PEELED & CHOPPED
4 LARGE WHITE POTATOES PEELED & CHOPPED
2 GARLIC CLOVES CRUSHED
1 WHITE ONION CHOPPED
APPROX 1 LITRE VEGGIE STOCK
1 TSP GINGER POWDER
1 1/2 TSP CINNAMON POWDER
1/2 TSP CHILLI FLAKES
SEA SALT
1/2 TO 1 CUP COCONUT MILK
MAPLE SYRUP
OIL OF CHOICE (I USE H**P)
*DO NOT ADD TOO MUCH STOCK
IF YOU PREFER A THICKER CONSISTENCY.

Method:

1.HEAT OIL IN MEDIUM POT.
2.ADD THE ONION, SP, POTATO & GARLIC TO THE POT. FRY FOR 5 MIN.
3.ADD SALT, GINGER, CINNAMON & CHILLI FLAKES FRY FOR 5 MIN.
4. ADD STOCK.
5. BRING TO THE BOIL, THEN TURN DOWN HEAT &, COOK UNTIL POTATOES ARE SOFT.
6. ADD COCONUT MILK (IF YOU LIKE THE SOUP THICK ADD LESS MILK)
7. BLITZ SOUP WITH AN IMMERSION BLENDER.
7. ADD MAPLE SYRUP (APPROX 1-2 TBLSP) & STIR THROUGH.
8. SEASON TO TASTE.
