🌟 Supported. Connected. Growing.

That’s the heart of working with an Allied Health Assistant.

Guided by your therapist, AHAs bring therapy to life — helping you practise new skills, build confidence, and weave learning into your everyday world.

They’re part of your team, walking beside you with encouragement, creativity, and care so you can keep growing at your own pace.

🧡Here’s to support that meets you where you are and celebrates every win along the way.

🌱AHA=Growth!

An Allied Health Assistant isn’t “less therapy” — it’s a sign you’ve grown!

Working alongside your therapist, AHAs give you more space to practise, explore, and succeed. They help stretch new skills into everyday life while keeping sessions fun, motivating, and goal-focused.

Think of them as your extra cheer squad, making sure the hard work you do with your OT or Speechie blossoms beyond the therapy room 🌟 Check in to see how we can support your therapy goals!

🔅What’s an Allied Health Assistant (AHA)?

At The Place, our AHAs are highly skilled, experienced team members who work hand-in-hand with your OT or Speechie. They help bring therapy goals to life in meaningful, real-world ways.

Whether it’s practising new skills, building confidence in daily routines, or adding a playful twist to learning, AHAs bridge the gap between sessions so progress keeps moving forward.

They don’t replace your therapist — they extend the care, creativity, and support you already know and love 🌱✨

🐾Daisy Says: Families, you’re almost there!

End of Term 3 is just around the corner, and we know everyone’s feeling the push to get through these last few days. Go easy on yourself — and on your kids — as we head into the home stretch. 🐶

Now’s a great time to start gentle conversations about the shift into school holidays: talk about what’s coming up, what they’re excited for, and how you’ll all rest and reset together. 🧘‍♀️☀️

You’ve got this! 💪💛

📚 Books are our secret superpower ✨
Whether it’s building language, supporting emotional regulation, or simply escaping into a story, books are an essential part of how we help families thrive.

At The Place, families can enjoy our in-house resource library for parents — filled with practical guides and gorgeous stories — as well as our community library rocket ship 🚀, where little explorers can borrow, swap, and discover new adventures.

✨ Meet Mel ✨
We are beyond excited to officially welcome Mel as our Client Experience Officer — aka the most important person at The Place! 💛

While Mel has been part of our Place family from the very beginning, next week she steps into her official role (and starts sorting our lives out on the daily 🙌).

Mel brings an incredible depth of expertise across so many areas, but most of all, she brings the heart and insight of being a proud mum to two beautiful boys, bringing her lived experience as a parent of a neurodivergent child. Her passion for supporting families shines through in everything she does.

We couldn’t be prouder to call her ours. Welcome officially to the team, Mel — we know The Place just got even brighter 🌟
