Hello Mundi Bash 2025! Last year facilitated a deeper conversation about accessibility. I haven’t experienced a festival that felt inclusive the way that Mundi did. I can’t wait to keep the conversation going. See you there! X

Last nights gig! What a beautiful evening. thank you to everyone involved.

I often think what a cool and beautiful thing it is that humans collectively come together to appreciate something others have created. It's so cool the way that art can bring people together on such a united front.

I was so happy to be playing at Mamma Chens. This venue is so welcoming and I felt incredibly comfortable knowing that they are all about making their venue accessible to all brains and abilities. Thank you Mamma Chens!

Lots of love x

Hello world! I'll be playing a gig this Saturday night (12th April) at Mamma Chen's in Footscray šŸ™‚ 7PM x This song is about letting go of all the worry and thoughts that get in the way of being in the moment and how lovely it is to feel like you are actually in the room and experiencing life connected rather than being dissociated from it. x

In support of Music Therapists here's our petition :)

Keep Music Therapy as an NDIS funded THERAPEUTIC Support!

Just want to express my gratitude to everyone who has supported, listened, let me cry on their shoulder, advocated, made me laugh and shared their stories over the last few days.

I am so grateful x

The NDIS has finally given the public a reason for its decision to greatly reduce participants ability to access music therapy services in the near future. Their decision is based on their belief that music therapy is not ā€œevidence basedā€ which is completely incorrect. Music therapy plays a vital role in supporting NDIS participants to improve functional capacity in areas such as movement and mobility, language and communication, emotional regulation and much, MUCH - more. Qualified music therapists have a 5 years masters degree with almost 900 hours of clinical placement.

Why openly admit that music supports communication only to remove music therapy from the NDIS????

Why openly admit that music supports communication only to remove music therapy from the NDIS????

Hey all it's Prairie here :) Doing my part in advocating for my profession and clients/their families whom i support. I am a registered music therapist (5 years masters qualification and almost 900 hrs of placement). The Department of Social Services have decided to remove Music Therapy as therapeutic support available for participants in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). This decision was made without consultation with the music therapy community and will significantly impact NDIS participants who rely on music therapy to achieve their goals. Please NDIS National Disability Insurance Scheme put a pause on this decision, provide the reason and protect participant choice!!
Shocked and devastated, have i actually just lost my job - out of no where!???
Please share and spread the word.
